Cards inspired by the work of Fred J. Orr, Athens Architect. Well-loved by many Athenians, Orr’s residential and commercial designs are unique. He believed in creating shared indoor-outdoor spaces, welcoming sunlight into buildings, and constructing his work carefully on the land. Orr, an 1895 graduate of UGA helped give Athens, Georgia its distinctive design element, and these beautiful postcards by René Shoemaker honor his legacy.
