Starting with the Scott Radian rod series, Scott introduced fast action fly rods that were powerful yet gave the caster feel at any distance. The Centric series builds on that tradition and can be fished effectively at short and long distances.

Centric fly rods perform roll casts and mends with ease. In addition to the advances in casting ability, the Centric rods are made better by the latest and highest quality rod building components. The blanks are lighter and recover faster than any rod Scott has ever built. Scott makes the cork grip with the finest cork available. Other improvements in components include titanium casting guides with zirconia inserts, Snake Brand black nickel snake guides, and a revolutionary new reel seat. The reel seat has speed threads, a Delrin lock washer, and a unique micarta insert. All Centric Fly rods are four pieces and come with a cloth rod bag and aluminum tube. Available in 4 weight through 7 weight models. All Scott Centric Fly Rods are built by hand in the USA.
